Underestimating the Power of the Two Enemies

Something bizarre is that right-wingers don’t really even perceive the Left as the enemy.

Left-wing state governments in WB and Karnataka send their state police to arrest right-wingers (or anyone else who speaks out against them) in other states. Right-wing state governments send their state police to arrest Samay Raina for some reason.

When Biden was elected, the Left prosecuted and jailed Trump, his associates, his supporters who protested at the Capitol—when Trump was elected, MAGA forgot all about that and instead went after Jews and Indians.

While the right sharpens their chimping-out against random right-wing subgroups or right-wingers of other countries, the Left sharpens their sword to use against the right.

2.2.1Infighting and wasting time on random monkeys

The flip side of lacking Shatrubodha is lacking Mitrabodha. An inability to recognise friends, a sense of proportion about areas of convergence versus divergence, strategies to build bridges and pursue win win collaboration, and having perennial suspicion and siege mentality

Indians (and also Whites of western european stock) have a very specific type of superiority complex: the type that goes “we are superior” rather than “we should be superior”. Our guys don’t want to actually increase our power—they just want to convince themselves (and everyone else) that we’re very powerful. In fact, I observe that Left-liberals are often simply invisible to both normies and many right-wingers, choosing instead to focus on the nationalists of other countries etc. (section 4.3.7) I can think of four reasons for this.

Fish in water. The Left dominates the Ideological Aether (section 4.3), so normies and even ostensible opponents of the ideology subconsciously see many leftist beliefs as “common sense” so they don’t really notice their own disagreement with it. Even when they do criticize leftists directly, it is often in the form of accusing them for not being true to their ideology (section 4.3.1) which is rather counter-productive.

Streetlight effect. The dominance of the Left just makes it easier to criticize other right-wingers than to fight the Left head on. Take, for instance, the rabid vitroil by White nationalists on the Internet against Indians and Jews. People have come up with all sorts of big-brain sociological explanations for it, but the real reason is quite simple: MAGAs want to be racist to someone, and Hindus and Jews are the ones for whom the work has already been done for them by Left-liberals/Muslims so they just need to do some screwdrivergiri to produce the finished product. Copying leftist oppression rhetoric about caste and Muslim rhetoric about Yahoodi saazish—and adding one last line “therefore Indians/Jews are evil”—is easier than inventing new rationalizations for other racisms. They feel comfy knowing the Left-liberal Rāj has their back.

Internalization of Leftist mythology. It is essential to the Left-liberal mythology to always LARP as the rebellion, even when they are the hegemonic ideology (section 3.3). Thus one consequence of the Leftist Ideological Aether (section 4.3.7) is that right-wingers have internalized the Left-liberal self-presentation as the oppressed or the voice of the weak etc. and instead of rejecting this premise and transcending that axis, they accept this premise but invert the value judgement, mocking the Leftist for being oppressed or weak.

Outdated models. Right-wingers just yearn to live in the foregone times where they would fight for their nation against another. Turning a blind eye to the Left-liberal Rāj is a form of escapism, to LARP as if they still live in that world.

There are more consequences of this.

2.2.2Cope-ologia

Libertarians, centrist-liberals and rāytās have a peculiar habit of doing what I term as “Cope-ologia” for Leftists.

“I agree with your concerns, it’s just that we don’t have REAL capitalism but CRONY capitalism. They’re not REAL free-market billionaires, they’re RENT-SEEKING billionaires.”

You’re begging leftists to agree with you on some abstraction, or pay lip service to your ideology (small govt, capitalism, Hinduism), while conceding everything of substance. You are fudging or overfiting your ideology to make it imply all the leftist policies and beliefs; like an apologetic for leftism claiming all the leftist tenets are the “true realization” of your ideology.

And for what? The leftist has no fear of the RW “using big govt against him” because he is totally secure in the fact that his side is vastly more powerful and more ruthless at leveraging it. He does not care about whether a capitalist took a few subsidies from the government—he hates him regardless, and will simply accept your “cronyism” argument as another weapon to be lobbed against the capitalist.

Another reason Cope-ologia manifests is as a way to cope with the direction the culture is almost inevitably moving by rationalizing it to their ideology.

Widespread anti-corporate sentiment? “Yes of course anti-corporate sentiment is totally libertarian, because we live in CRONY-CAPITALISM, so bringing down corporations is libertarian.” Or libertarians in 2016 saying marijuana legalization suggests America is moving in a libertarian direction. Neither anti-corporate sentiment nor marijuana legalization are caused by libertarian ideology among their proponents, thus the other consequences of the underlying trend will not be libertarian.

Similarly you have copes like “wokeness is just corporate PR” “it’s just greenwashing” “wokeness is actually just nation-building, like ancient empires did”. No, Romans didn’t go tell Gauls and Jews they were victims of Italian supremacy, make their woes their entire puruṣārtha and declare the Roman nation had to be dismantled for it. You are scared of admitting the dominance the left has over the culture, or of identifying it as the enemy, so you want to fit a more palatable, right-wing explanation for all of it. Patriots secretly in control, you see.

Rationalization. The most serious example: rationalizing left-wing economic policies by handwaving about “externalities” and “monopsonies” when you know very well that’s not how they came up with those policies, and you have not actually quantitatively calculated how much the externality is, whether the proposed solution is an improvement, etc. You are “explaining away”, like the famous anecdote about the student asked to explain why the part of the plate further from the fire is hotter than the side near the fire (it was secretly rotated) and he answers “heat conduction”. Except in this case you are not fudging your theories to fit reality, you are fudging your theories to fit leftist commands4.

2.2.3Mockery-cope/The enemy’s rituals work

Suppose your kid grows up as both academically mediocre and aberrant. He/she wants to do some degree on gender studies or social dynamics among African green monkeys. How much money would you need to say “Cool, you do you. You don’t have to work a single day in your life”?

I found this above question quite telling. You will never hear a leftist say “How much money would you need to let your children become a saṅgh pracārak or right-wing activist?”. The leftist hates the saṅgh pracārak and sees him as the enemy, while the RW mocks the leftist activist and sees her as merely a waste of money and time. He genuinely cannot fathom that it is really the leftist activist who controls cultural narratives and determines policy through institutional and cultural capture—he will laugh if you tell him the gender studies majors are powerful and a serious danger.

The result of this is that the same mockery of leftists is also done cynically by “liberals” (good-cops) to downplay the threat of leftists on their own side. In the 2010s, centrist liberals used to downplay wokeness by saying “it’s just some idealistic college-kids, wait till they get a job—whereas the right literally elects their crazies to the White House!” Well, those idealistic college-kids grew up, got their jobs, and transformed those jobs in their own image.

We do not live in an absolute-monarchy where everything is determined by the King—democracy has consequences: it means that politics is largely determined by culture, and specifically by the institutions that have the greatest influence on culture: “civil society” groups, media, stuff like Wikipedia and social media and search engines—and thus you must hold them responsible to an even greater extent than you hold the elected government.

Man, do you guys not see how much more successful Islamists have been at pushing their cause than you have been with anything? Do you not see disproportionately successful the Palestinist movement is for how stupid and objectively evil their cause is? How are you lecturing them that their “strategy is bad”?

The result of Palestinians committing a gruesome terror attack on Israel on 10/7 was a massive elevation of the “Palestinian cause” in public discourse across the political spectrum and from America to the Andaman, and a flurry of official recognitions of the Palestinian state by the European governments6.

Islamist terror works7. Islamist terror works, because it is incentivized by the Left-liberal media and activist apparatus—because even if they nominally condemn the terror attack itself, they put the terrorist’s “cause” into the spotlight and cover it favourably, elevating “moderate voices” for that cause as an alternative to the terrorists etc. The same applies to disruptive and annoying protests by leftists—they work, because they insert the cause into the discourse which is sympathetically covered by the Left-liberal media.

On a side note, it is really such a twisted world that we live in, that terror is not taken as a moral indictment of the people doing it but rather interpreted by Leftists as evidence of how oppressed they are that they must resort to terror, and Centrist Libs doing nominal condemnation of the attack itself but bringing sympathetic attention to the broader “cause”—thus incentivizing more terror.

There must be complete clarity about this. Every expression of sympathy for Palestinians or “Muslims facing backlash” (or in general whatever “cause” is supported by the terrorists) after a terror attack done by them is an incentivization of terror. Every heartbreak emoji and “all eyes on Rafah” social media post, every monkey-balancing of “look I don’t support terror BUT look at the poor kids!”, every tear you shed for them—is a dead innocent non-Muslim. You either shut up and let the grown-ups handle terror however they deem fit—or you are complicit in terrorism yourself.

Libs will be like “you shouldn’t do terrorism, it’s ineffective” then massively reward terrorism by inserting their cause to the top of the discourse and promoting  moderate voices  nobody had cared about earlier.

Terrorism is to Islam what Protests and Wordceling are to Left-liberalism, or what Ritual is to Hinduism. It is the formality or “needful” by which the religion is established and sustained. Not everyone in the religion is obligated to do it, but everyone in the religion is obligated to respect its performance.

2.2.4All-is-well cope

Saudi and Pakistan signed a “mutual defense agreement”. This is simply objectively bad for us, right? And obviously there can be no sense in which this benefit us—like, obviously, why would Pakistan sign a deal that were somehow good for us, lol, why would you even ask this—

A lot of the bizarrely high expectations from the government also come from this: people not knowing our aukāt in modern times and subconsciously still thinking we’re at the top of the world and everyone worships us, like the silk road kings begging us to sire their grandchildren. So the government has to furnish a steady stream of exaggerated wins to keep them satiated. Because surely the great number-1 country that we are, if something goes wrong it must be because the “politicians” are disappointing us.

No, global circumstances really are grim. So grim that Pakistan does a terrorist attack on us, and we’re the ones who are at risk of getting isolated. Indians think “the whole world knows Pakistan is a terrorist shithole; Whites think of them as terrorists, Arabs think of them as toilet cleaners, even Turks are disgusted by them”.

No, they don’t. It’s not like America is run by patriotic Whites who are really upset at Pakistan for sheltering Osama. It is run by the Left-liberal Rāj, which is beholden to Muslim lobbies that were literally powerful enough to get them to replace Sheikh Hasina’s government in Bangladesh with a psycho-jihadi regime—and the patriotic Whites who exist have the knowledge and attention-span of a goldfish to think about these things properly.

We need to be weaned off this addiction. But if a Millennium of Humiliation did not rid us of it, I don’t know what will.

2.2.5“Deserve it” or told-you-so cope

I really hate the idea of voters or polities “getting what they deserve” when a bad candidate is elected. People are generally very poorly informed about elections, and the idea of it being good to mock people who are suffering, regardless of real fault, is just cruel.

The single worst and most suicidal trait of right-wingers is that whenever a Random Monkey gets brutalized by the Enemy, they have a tendency to react by saying, with a smug grin dripping with schadenfreude and impotence, “they deserve it”.

Never mind that an Islamized Britain would be a disaster for India. Never mind that Dinesh d’Souza represents the old school Republicans who are the most favorable faction to us in the U.S. Never mind that leftist conquest will not stop with that city or that Random Monkey, but will continue to your doorstep and beyond. We just want to masturbate.

Far from building bridges or trying to reconquer the people being brutalized by your Enemy, you actively make them resent you even more than they resent the Enemy brutalizing them, because the only thing more repulsive than a rapist is an impotent pervert masturbating to the rape in the corner, which is what you are.

No desire to win, no missionary instinct, no reconquista mindset of figuring out how to spin situations to your advantage. Just an impotent bugman satisfied living in blame and cope, sitting around feeling smug about being “proven right”.

To be clear: this is a criticism of right-wing people, not the party. The BJP/RSS do have a reconquista mindset which is genuinely refreshing to anyone who has witnessed the state of right-wing movements elsewhere. This is, for example, why Modi repeatedly praises the Tamils: not for any political calculation, but because it’s a signal to the RW base to not write off any region as irredeemable/a reminder to refrain from permanently alienating any Hindu subgroup over current-day politics.

Karma was never meant to be a cope that your enemies will magically be punished simply for being your enemies. It was never meant to be an excuse for inaction.

2.2.6Closing your eyes won’t make the Enemy go away

A particularly annoyinng thing right-wingers do is saying “nobody takes [enemy] seriously anymore”.

Instagram audiences turning hard-left and Congressi? “Oh don’t worry, those people are irrelevant, nobody takes them seriously anymore.”

Indira Jaising getting rapists-and-murderers off the hook? “Oh don’t worry, I’m a lawyer, and none of us in the profession take her seriously.”

Biden SEC doing open political prosecution of Adani? “Oh don’t worry, Indians do not believe what Americans say anymore.”

Even if it was true that none of these people had influence over what people think and believe (which they do) ... you do realize they have actual material impact regardless of you “believing” them, right? Indira Jaising is literally winning, and has successfully freed many rapists and murders from charges—there have been no executions in India since the Nirbhaya case. The U.S. government has the capacity to deal very real damage to the Indian economy. Instagram audiences are, whether you like it or not, the most influential forces in the culture.

How the hell is “I don’t take my enemies seriously” even a brag? Do you think the only way the Enemy can hurt you is if you believe them?
