While Left-liberalism in India had always adored Islam for the atrocity-filled and depraved history of Political Islam in India, this was not a universal phenomenon: Leftists and Muslims had often fought each other in the Soviet Union and Southeast Asia. Left-liberals in the West had a mildly positive predisposition (because of an American black nationalist and terrorist organization called the Nation of Islam), but not nearly the same devotion toward Muslims as those in India had. By flying planes into the World Trade Center and killing thousands of people, Jihad proved herself worthy of the Rāj’s love.

Despite right-wing cope, neither side is getting “played”. Yes, she beats him, and yes she has affairs with his various rivals (Woke Right, various regional parties in India)—but these are all with his blessing, in order to better secure her position and femme-fatale his rivals, because he genuinely holds servicing the most insane of his wife’s demands to be his prime directive.
All “fights” between them are basically the husband making practical points like “yes of course I will unalive the Zionists for you, but if I do it now I will go to jail and you will have no one to carry your bodybags!” Maybe once they are totally victorious, the Left-liberal may turn against his wife’s traditionalism/orthodoxy. But they will still, no matter what, agree about chopping your heads off (and ours). Maybe they’ll defend the gays. Not us.
Many people have noticed the similarity between Islam and Left-absolutism at the level of methods (romanticizing revolution etc.), which explains one of the reasons Left-liberals are drawn to running cover for it. This lets educated or integrated Muslims seamlessly become “liberal Muslims” or historically “Sufis” etc. as the Left-liberal analog to the more explicitly violent Left-absolutism.

Early Islam has a lot of similarities to de-growther/third-worldist communism, in particular the climate variety of de-growth. Early Muslims believed the apocalypse was literally right around the corner, as in within a generation it would come. They *wanted* that to be the case. Because they were extremely nihilistic about what their lives could be.
That’s why the depraved things done by Muhammad and Ahl-al-bayt (marrying the wives of men he’d killed, marrying the widow of his own adopted son) were simply beyond reproach. Think of how communists respond when you bring up that Mao killed thirty million people, or that Stalin impregnated a twelve year old girl, or that Hamas infantry are serial rapists to a man.
They don’t take it seriously. Actually, they’re appalled you (you!) could have the gumption to interrogate them on any point. After all, you are somehow personally responsible for neglecting the climate apocalypse. And also the children in Gaza, but more importantly the moral apocalypse that they feel has already happened.
No atrocity they can commit will ever compare (they feel) to the horror of simply existing in the world they live in. The atrocities committed by communism/Islam are basically a punishment for the rest of us so that we can feel the horror they feel.
