rasavaddarśitaspaṣṭaśṛṅgārādirasādayam /
svaśabdasthāyisaṃcārivibhāvābhinayāspadam //

“The relish-possessing [ornament] is that which displays clearly the manifestation of aesthetic relishes such as the erotic, / resting upon their own words, stable [emotions], transitory [emotions], determinants, and dramatic representations.”
