"lāvaṇyakāntiparipūritadiṅbhukhe 'smin
smere 'dhunā tava mukhe taralāyatākṣi /
kṣobhaṃ yadeti na manāgapi tena manye
suvyaktameva jalarāśirayaṃ payodhiḥ" //

"Now that this face of yours is smiling, its corners filling the directions with the luster of loveliness, / O girl with tremulous, long eyes, / since it does not undergo agitation in the least, for that reason I think / that this ocean is most clearly [nothing but] a pool of water!"
