atha grahāṇāṃ pīḍākaraṇaprakāraḥ |
sadā'gnirogajvaravṛddhidīpanakṣayātisāgadikarogasaṅkulam |
nṛpāladevāvanidevakiṅkaraiḥ karoti cittavyasanaṃ devākaraḥ ||

Now the manner of planets causing affliction: / The Sun constantly produces distress of mind through kings, gods, brāhmaṇas, and servants, / full of diseases such as fire-afflictions, increase of fever, hyperacidity, consumption, and dysentery.
