lipribhūtairlagnabhāvairnahanyādāyurddhayaṃ khecarāṇāṃ pṛthaksyam |
vyomākāśatvindupakṣairbhajettat svāyurdāyācchodhyamabdādi labdham ||
One should separately multiply the longevity of the planets by the minutes of the ascendant house; / divide that by 21600, and the quotient obtained in years and so forth should be subtracted from its longevity determination.
