On "yellow-colored": in an inquiry concerning an object held in the fist or an inquiry concerning a thought, through the earth element one should declare a yellow-colored, four-cornered object endowed with the seed-syllable "laṃ". Through the water element, one should declare the circle of Water to be a white, six-cornered object endowed with the seed-syllable "vaṃ". Through the fire element, one should declare the circle of Fire to be a red-colored, triangular object endowed with the seed-syllable "raṃ". Through the wind element, one should declare a green, eight-cornered object endowed with the seed-syllable "yaṃ". Likewise, through the space element, one should declare the circle of Space to be a smoke-colored, circular object endowed with the seed-syllable "haṃ". Among the five elements—among the five elements beginning with earth—it has been stated by ancient sages. "Killing": clear. "Pacification": easy to understand. "The Moon and Sun": easy to understand.
