佛說長阿含經卷第二

Fascicle Two of the Dīrghāgama Sūtra Spoken by the Buddha

Thus I have heard: One time, the Buddha was staying on Mount Gṛdhrakūṭa at Rājagṛha. He was accompanied by a large group of 1,250 monks.

一時，佛在羅閱城耆闍崛山中，與大比丘眾千二百五十人俱。

At one time, the Buddha was staying on Gṛdhrakūṭa Mountain in Rājagṛha, together with a great assembly of one thousand two hundred and fifty bhikṣus.
