佛說長阿含經卷第五

The Dīrghāgama Sūtra Spoken by the Buddha, Fascicle Five

Thus I have heard: One time, the Buddha was staying on Mount Gṛdhrakūṭa near Rājagṛha. He was accompanied by a large assembly of 1,250 monks.

一時，佛在羅閱祇耆闍崛山，與大比丘眾千二百五十人俱。

At one time, the Buddha was staying at Gṛdhrakūṭa Mountain in Rājagṛha, together with a great assembly of one thousand two hundred and fifty bhikṣus.
