The Long Āgama Sūtra, Scroll Eight

Thus I have heard: One time, the Buddha was staying at Saptaparṇa Cave near Mount Vaibhāra of Rājagṛha. He was accompanied by a large assembly of 1,250 monks.

一時，佛在羅閱祇毗訶羅山七葉樹窟，與大比丘眾千二百五十人俱。

At one time the Buddha was dwelling at Rājagṛha, on Mount Vebhāra in the Saptaparṇaguhā Cave, together with a great assembly of one thousand two hundred and fifty bhikṣus.
