聞如是:
Thus have I heard:
Thus I have heard: One time, the Buddha was staying at Anāthapiṇḍada’s Park in Jeta’s Grove of Śrāvastī.
15.10.3
一時,佛在舍衛國祇樹給孤獨園。
At one time, the Buddha was staying in the country of Śrāvastī, at the Jetavana monastery in Anāthapiṇḍada's park.
15.10.4
爾時,世尊告諸比丘:「有二因二緣起於正見。云何為二?受法教化,內思止觀。是謂,比丘!有此二因二緣起於正見。如是,諸比丘!當作是學。」
At that time, the Bhagavat said to the bhikṣus: “There are two causes and two conditions that give rise to right view. What are the two? Receiving the teachings of the Dharma, and internally contemplating śamatha and vipaśyanā. This is called, bhikṣus, having these two causes and two conditions that give rise to right view. Thus, bhikṣus, you should train.”
It was then that the Bhagavān addressed the monks, “There are two causes and two conditions that produce right view. What are the two? Accepting the Dharma teaching and inner thought that’s calming and contemplative. Monks, these are two causes and two conditions that produce right view. Thus, monks, you should train yourselves.”
15.10.5
爾時,諸比丘聞佛所說,歡喜奉行。
At that time, having heard what the Buddha said, the bhikṣus rejoiced and took it to heart.
When the monks heard what the Buddha taught, they rejoiced and approved.
15.10.6
二見及二施 愚者有二相
禮法如來廟 正見最在後
Two views and two gifts, / the fool has two marks;
Homage to the Dharma and the Tathāgata’s shrine, / right view comes at the very end.
[1-2] Two views and [3-5] two gifts,
[6] Two signs of a fool,
[7-9] Honoring the Dharma and the Tathāgata’s shrine,
And the last is [10] right view.
