2.31
佛說是時，小兒見佛其身即踊，如八歲小兒，即作沙彌，得羅漢道。村人大小見佛光相，又見小兒形變踊大，皆大歡喜，得須陀洹道，父母疑解，亦得法眼。
When the Buddha spoke this, the infants saw the Buddha and their bodies instantly leapt up, becoming like eight-year-old boys. They immediately became novice monks and attained the way of an arhat. The villagers, young and old, saw the Buddha's radiant signs and saw the infants' forms transform and leap up into growth; they all rejoiced greatly and attained the way of the srotāpanna. The parents' doubts were resolved, and they also attained the dharma-eye.
On hearing: these lines, the children were able to enter as Samaneras into the assembly, and the parents and other villagers entered the paths.
