薩遮尼犍及五百弟子，聞佛此偈歡喜開解，棄捐貢高皆作沙門，尼乾一人發菩薩心，五百弟子皆得阿羅漢道。
Satyaka the Nirgrantha and his five hundred disciples, hearing these verses of the Buddha, rejoiced and attained understanding. Casting aside their arrogance, they all became śramaṇas; Nirgrantha alone generated the mind of a bodhisattva, while the five hundred disciples all attained the arhat's path.
On hearing these words, Sacha Nirgrantha and his 500 followers were all filled with joy, and became followers of Buddha (Shamans). The Nirgrantha arrived at the condition (heart) of a Bōdhisatwa, the others became Rahats.
