eight things are abundant, and two are rare. That is to say: other tīrthikas, suffering sentient beings, differences of caste, family, lineage, wealth, and decline, those who engage in misconduct, those whose moral discipline is broken, the durgatis, the Hīnayāna, and bodhisattvas with inferior intentions and application are abundant; whereas the conduct of bodhisattvas endowed with supreme intentions and application, and the appearance of Tathāgatas, are rare. Mañjuśrī, in pure lokadhātus, the opposite is the case: eight things should be understood to be rare, and two abundant." Then the bodhisattva Mañjuśrī said this to the Bhagavān: "Bhagavān, what is the name of this exposition taught in this dharmaparyāya of the Saṃdhinirmocana? How should this be remembered?" The Bhagavān said to him: "Mañjuśrī, remember this exposition of the nītārtha of accomplishing the Tathāgata's deeds as 'The Exposition of the Nītārtha of Accomplishing the Tathāgata's Deeds'." When this exposition of the nītārtha of accomplishing the Tathāgata's deeds was spoken, seventy-five thousand bodhisattvas individually and truly realised the complete dharmakāya. After the Bhagavān had spoken thus, Mañjuśrī Kumārabhūta, that entire assembly, and the world with its gods, humans, asuras, and gandharvas rejoiced and praised the words of the Bhagavān. The Noble Saṃdhinirmocana, the Chapter on the Determination of the Accumulation of Qualities of the Mahāyāna, is complete. It was revised and finalised in accordance with the new linguistic revision.
