In the English language: The Mantra and Praise of the Wrathful King Bhurkuṃkūṭa
p4
Homage to the Three Jewels!
p5
Homage! Homage! Homage and praise!
p6
Wrathful toward the malevolent, great wrathful deity,
p7
Awakened, awakened, primordially awakened,
p8
Dharmakāya, sambhogakāya, and nirmāṇakāya—
p9
To you, renowned as Bhurkuṃkūṭa, I offer homage!
p10
Poised upon a lotus, sun, and moon-disc throne,
p11
Encircled by a blazing halo of apocalyptic fire,
p12
You appear, dark green and blemished,
p13
With three faces and six arms.
p14
Your right face is white, your left is red,
p15
Your central face is green, all with three eyes—each baring terrifying fangs,
p16
Devouring filth like healing nectar.
p17
In your right hands: a vajra and a sword.
p18
In your left: a lasso and an iron hook.
p19
The final pair of hands cross at your heart in the threatening gesture.
p20
You act tirelessly, beyond pure or impure.
p21
Your head and limbs adorned with venomous serpents,
p22
You practice yogic austerity with fearless power.
p23
Wrathful King, to you I offer homage!
p24
You transmute the impure into pure—
p25
Wrathful King, homage and praise to you!
p26
You protect us from all dangers—
p27
Wrathful King, homage and praise to you!
p28
You guard against illness and plague—
p29
Wrathful King, homage and praise to you!
p30
You are supreme in purifying
p31
Tainted food and garments;
p32
You delight, without exception,
p33
Gods, nāgas, yakṣas, and spirits alike.
p34
You protect against disease, illness, and plague—
p35
I offer homage and praise to you!
p36
Please grant us your protection.
p37
You cleanse our impurities,
p38
You remove our defilements,
p39
You lift our burdens,
p40
You free us from all bonds—
p41
I offer praise to you!
p42
Those devoted to you
p43
Find ease in body, mind, and faculties.
p44
Homage to you, deity of ease.
p45
They are purified in body, mind, and faculties.
p46
Homage to you, deity of purity.
p47
They are cleansed in body, mind, and faculties.
p48
Homage to you, deity of cleanliness.
p49
They are clear in body, mind, and faculties.
p50
Homage to you, deity of clarity.
p51
They are limpid in body, mind, and faculties.
p52
Homage to you, deity of limpidity.
p53
When gods, nāgas, pretas, piśācas, rākṣasas
p54
Yakṣas and bhūtas hear this sacred praise,
p55
Their suffering will dissolve, joy will arise—
p56
They will shine white as the snowy peaks,
p57
Pure as crystal,
p58
Clear as a mirror,
p59
Transparent as the sky.
p60
May the eight classes of beings—
p61
On earth and in the heavens above,
p62
Gods, nāgas, and all others—
p63
Abide in virtue, free from harm,
p64
Devoted solely to peaceful deeds.
