If those two bhikṣuṇīs say: 'We do not engage in bad conduct, have no evil reputation, do not conceal each other's offenses, and do not trouble and vex the saṅgha. There are two other bhikṣuṇīs here who together engage in bad conduct and trouble and vex the saṅgha.' The bhikṣuṇīs should again say to them: 'Do not speak like this. Why is that? There are no other two bhikṣuṇīs here engaging in bad conduct and troubling the saṅgha; there are only you two. Distance yourselves from each other; abandon this bad conduct and troubling of the saṅgha, so that you may grow and dwell at ease within the Buddhadharma.' If, when thus admonished, they obstinately persist and do not abandon it, they should be admonished a second and a third time. If on being admonished a second or third time they abandon it, that is well.
