> Asaṅga's commentary states: This is the twelfth \[distinction\], which is for the sake of staying far away from profit, honor, exhaustion, and affliction, whether energy regresses or is not aroused; it is also the eighth among the ādhāras free from obstacles, which is for the sake of abandoning attachment to the taste of indolence, profit, and honor. The explanation says: this states that if there are sentient beings who delight in and crave the taste of indolence, or crave profit and honor and do not arouse energy, or have previously developed virtues but then regressed and lost them, in order to make them stay far away from these things, the comparison is made through body and life, with the intention of making them advance forward.
