- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [2.52](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1702.2.52)

> "The five perfections", etc.: the five perfections are giving, morality, patience, vigor, and concentration. The responsive body is the body of purple-golden color with the thirty-two marks and eighty secondary signs. This is brought about through the cumulative practice of the five pāramitās; therefore it is said that the five perfections are the cause of the responsive body.
