> “About to” means intending to. Following the commentary of Chenwai of Chongshisi, this only opens four headings. If one followed the Dayun Commentary, it would open six headings: first, clarifying the sūtra's intent; second, clarifying the central doctrine; third, clarifying the sūtra's substance; fourth, distinguishing the time of translation; fifth, explaining the title; sixth, explaining the sūtra text. Although there are now four headings, they contain the meaning of the six headings: this second heading subsumes the second and third of that \[commentary\], the fourth subsumes its fifth and sixth, and the others subsume single headings, differing only slightly.
