> "The four kinds": citing the objects subsumed to clarify the delimited scopes. Just as the six consciousnesses are subsumed by the six sense-objects, subsumption by form includes the physical and divine eyes. The treatise says: 'Subsumption by form has two: first, the result of karma-dharma; second, the sphere of cultivation.' 'Dharma' is the physical eye, because it is brought about by past karmic dharmas. 'Cultivation' is the divine eye, meaning it is the result of concentration, obtained through cultivation. Both eyes equally see material phenomena; since material phenomena are the coarsest, they are explained first. The ultimate truth is the realm of the absolute truth, subsuming the wisdom eye. The worldly truth is the realm of conventional truth, subsuming the Dharma eye.
