- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [2.296](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1708.2.296)

> Explanation: Third, the general synthesis. 'Dharma characteristics being such' synthesizes the above six kinds of characteristics of emptiness, saying: How could it be attained with mind? Regarding 'attained with no-mind': having a mind is conceptualization, and having no mind is the non-conceptual mind; how could there be attainment with mind or attainment with no-mind? Alternatively, 'how could it be attained with mind' refutes attainment with mind. Since its objects are all empty, how could there be a mind attaining what has no object? 'Attained with no-mind' affirms attainment with no-mind, meaning that because objects are empty, the non-conceptual mind is able to attain emptiness.
