> The commentary explains: 'All sentient beings' refers to the destinies of humans, gods, and so forth. 'All questions and difficulties' refers to the questions and difficulties presented according to each of their languages, sounds, and various names and meanings. 'Resolve them with a single voice': those capable of resolving are the two, expression and eloquence; those that are resolved are the two, dharmas and meanings. 'Cause all to rejoice': in accordance with their dispositions, whether sharp, middling, or dull faculties, they universally embrace and benefit them, causing them to rejoice. As the Daśabhūmika Sūtra says: 'This bodhisattva, before a single buddha, listens to and receives the Dharma with ten asaṃkhyeyas of hundreds of thousands of dhāraṇī-doors, and likewise before other measureless and boundless buddhas. In a single thought, whether in one great-thousand world, or two, three, four, ten, a hundred, a thousand, ten thousand, a koṭi of worlds, or ten koṭis, a hundred koṭis, a thousand koṭis, ten thousand koṭis, a nayuta, or even ineffable and ineffable great-thousand worlds, full of sentient beings, who in a single thought simultaneously raise questions and difficulties, the bodhisattva in a single thought, merely with a single voice, causes all to understand, expounding all names, sentences, and phonemes within a single name, sentence, or phoneme, expounding all meanings within a single meaning, manifesting all sounds within a single regional sound, and expounding inexhaustibly in accordance with what is suitable for their faculties within a single dharma and meaning—this is called unobstructed comprehension.' From here, the third part concludes and explains the fulfillment of the ground.
