> From "emptiness and existence" down, second is the complete manifestation of the single taste. Guifeng says: "It means the nature of the one true mind is neither empty nor form, yet capable of emptiness and capable of form, like the brightness of a mirror." This adds the paramārtha-satya after the two truths: because it lacks intrinsic nature, it is dependently produced, so emptiness perishes; because it is dependently produced, it lacks intrinsic nature, so existence perishes. When emptiness and existence both perish, it is the dharma of a single taste; therefore it is said to be 'constantly manifest.' The commentary below states: 'The preservation and perishing of illusory form do not obstruct true emptiness; concealment and manifestation are free and sovereign, combining into a single taste; perfect, unobstructed, and without fixed locus—such is its dharma.'"
