> Next, evaluating coarse and subtle in terms of following feelings versus following wisdom: taking the tripiṭaka \[teaching\] first, when one initially hears of the two truths that follow feelings, one clings to real words as false words; because view\[s\] based on words arise, saṃsāra is vast and boundless, without the slightest flavor of the Buddhadharma. If one can diligently cultivate the stations of mindfulness and generate the four good roots, at that time the two truths that follow feelings are both termed conventional; when one generates the uncontaminated, the two truths illuminated by it are both termed ultimate. For those at the stage of the four fruits onward, the ultimate and conventional illuminated by uncontaminated wisdom are both termed the two truths that follow wisdom.
