> Following feelings is coarse; following wisdom is subtle. It is like churning milk until it first becomes curd. Once it has become curd, their minds are receptive and trusting, and coming and going presents no difficulty. Then, in terms of following feelings, feelings-and-wisdom, and wisdom, one can expound the shared \[teaching\], entering the shared from the distinctive, and entering the shared from the perfect, causing them to feel ashamed of the small and admire the great, lamenting that they are ruined seeds and thirsting for the superior vehicle. At that time, it is like churning curd into butter. When their minds gradually become broad and tranquil, then in terms of following feelings, feelings-and-wisdom, and wisdom, one expounds for them the distinctive \[teaching\] and entering the distinctive from the perfect, clarifying unshared prajñā and assigning them the stewardship of the household estate, so that they are made to know all the gold, silver, and precious jewels, as well as their incoming, outgoing, receipt, and expenditure. Once they know this, it is like churning butter into clarified butter. After a long time in the teachings of the Buddhas, they must expound the true jewel, and so in terms of following feelings, feelings-and-wisdom, and wisdom, they expound the perfect two truths, just like churning clarified butter into ghee. Thus, while the six types of two truths mature sentient beings and form four flavors, they are therefore coarse; the single flavor of ghee is subtle.
