- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [7.16](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1716.7.16)

自有壞益、成益、亦壞亦成益、不壞不成益。不壞不成益，是清涼益；四趣因，是壞益；非想因，是成益；中間，是亦成亦壞益（云云）。

> There is destructive benefit, constructive benefit, both destructive and constructive benefit, and neither destructive nor constructive benefit. "Neither destructive nor constructive benefit" is the benefit of coolness. The cause of the four destinies is destructive benefit; the cause of Neither-Conceptualization\[-Nor-Non-Conceptualization\] is constructive benefit; the intermediate is both constructive and destructive benefit, and so on.
