> Next, clarifying the contemplation of the gate of existence of the shared teaching: it likewise consists of ten meanings, the names of which are listed (and so forth). One experientially understands all dharmas to be like illusions and transformations. Although the generating of the mind of the three types of practitioners is the same, there are also slight differences (and so forth). Masters of the Madhyamaka say: 'Here, they are Mahāyāna śrāvakas.' Now I say this is not so. A sūtra says: 'Those who wish to attain the state of śrāvaka or pratyekabuddha should study prajñā.' A treatise says: 'For śrāvakas and pratyekabuddhas, the paths of liberation and nirvāṇa are all attained from prajñā.' Sūtras and treatises do not say this is the case; it is the human masters' error. Although knowing that concentration and wisdom are ungraspable, one calms the mind in these two dharmas, and with the wisdom of illusion and transformation universally refutes the four views, sixty-two views, and all dharmas, knowing that suffering and origin within illusion and transformation are called obstructed, and knowing that path and cessation within illusion and transformation are called unobstructed. With an ungraspable mind one cultivates the thirty-seven factors; with nothing to cure one studies the various antidotes, recognizing the dry wisdom stage up to the buddha stage. The wisdom of illusion and transformation is not shaken by external demons, nor made to retreat by internal obstacles. When all dharmas do not arise, prajñā arises, and without craving or attachment one immediately enters truth; whether in terms of wisdom or severance, it is the non-arising dharma patience. Compared to the previous, it is skillful; according to this template, it can be known, so I will not record it in detail. The ten meanings of the other three gates are largely the same with minor differences, which can be understood in thought, so I will also not trouble to record them in text.
