> Fifth, it contains "garland": it strings together teaching, practice, and principle like stringing a flower garland so that they do not scatter. The mundane siddhānta strings together the Buddha's verbal teachings so that they do not scatter; the individual and counteractive \[siddhāntas\] string together the manifold practices so that they do not scatter; the supreme truth strings together the meanings and principles so that they do not scatter. Grouping these as dharma gates: stringing together the teaching constitutes faultlessness of mouth; stringing together practice is faultlessness of body; stringing together meaning is faultlessness of mind; these are also the three kinds of practices associated with wisdom, and are also the three dhāraṇīs. The non-scattering of teaching is the dhāraṇī of retaining what is heard; the non-scattering of practice is the action-dhāraṇī; the non-scattering of meaning is the comprehensive-retention dhāraṇī. If explained in terms of adorning the body: with respect to teaching it is called the adornment of wisdom; with respect to practice it is called the adornment of merit; with respect to meaning it is that which is adorned. That which is adorned is the dharma-kāya, adorned by concentration and wisdom. All sentient beings possess the dharma-kāya; the substance of the dharma-kāya is plain, so devas and dragons neglect and look down on it; if one cultivates and learns concentration and wisdom to adorn the dharma-kāya, then all will see and revere it.
