> Furthermore, regarding 'Thus': at the beginning of the sūtras of the Buddhas of the three times, 'Thus' is always placed; the path of all Buddhas is identical and does not contend with the world—this is the worldly siddhānta. The Mahāprajñāpāramitā-śāstra states: 'Mentioning the time and place causes people to generate faith'—this is the individual adaptation siddhānta. Furthermore, it directly refutes the non-Buddhist terms 'a' and 'ou' as being not so and not right—this is the counteractive siddhānta. Furthermore, 'Thus' is an expression of faithful compliance: through faith, one accords with the principle one has heard; through compliance, the path between master and disciple is accomplished—this is the paramārtha siddhānta. The explanation by causality is extremely broad and cannot be recorded in full, and so forth.
