- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.99](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1718.1.99)

> Regarding the origin and traces: Non-arising and non-arising is termed great nirvāṇa. The source of the outflowing torrent of afflictions has long run dry, and one never again falls into the stage of the two vehicles or of ordinary persons—this is the origin of non-arising. The dharmakāya's wisdom and eradication, the merits of true reality, are called the origin of one's own benefit. Attaining the sovereign samādhi, shattering the twenty-five realms of existence, revealing the nature of the self, and being endowed with the eightfold sovereign self are called the origin of slaying the bandits. In the traces, he merely displays the merits of the two vehicles.
