法華文句記 2.109

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [2.109](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1719.2.109)

專注之言言通事別，若以始終專注由此而生疑念，則意未休。若且以身口讚歎供養，則一期事畢，意具斯二不可一向。

> The phrase "single-minded attention" is comprehensive in words but distinct in matter: if throughout they maintain single-minded attention and from this give rise to doubts, then the mind has not ceased. If provisionally \[understood as\] their physical and verbal praising and offering, then that single phase of action is completed. The mind possesses both of these; it cannot be treated purely in one way.
