法華文句記 2.77

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [2.77](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1719.2.77)

不休息者，與常精進義意略同。欲辨別者，無間趣入名為精進，長時無廢名不休息，是故觀解名為不住，故釋不休息亦約長時，但得記與利生不同耳。教迹準知。

> Regarding Anikṣiptadhura (Never Resting): its meaning is roughly the same as Ever Vigorous. If one wishes to distinguish them: entering without interruption is called 'vigorous'; being without cessation over a long time is called 'never resting.' Therefore, contemplative interpretation calls it 'non-abiding'; thus the explanation of 'never resting' is also treated in terms of a long time, only differing in receiving prophecy and benefiting sentient beings. Teachings and traces may be known by analogy.
