次「知見者」下，意取經文從欲令去為位一，文中但云知見者，以經文一一句中皆云知見，即能知見已屬智行，所見諦理已屬理一，雖不分於知見淺深，乃以開等對位各別，故屬位一。次又取結文對三法一，重取前文攬意而說，故云「又」也。「又取」諸句下出現之言，為感應一，四句皆同隨義故別，無非感應，餘四可知。

> Next, from "Knowledge and vision..." onward, the intent takes the sūtra text from "desiring to cause..." onward as the unity of stages. The text merely says "knowledge and vision" because every phrase of the sūtra text says "knowledge and vision": that which can know and see already belongs to wisdom and practice, and the truth of principle that is seen already belongs to the unity of principle. Although it does not distinguish the shallowness or depth of knowledge and vision, by correlating opening and the rest with distinct stages, it belongs to the unity of stages. Next, it also takes the concluding text to correlate with the unity of the three dharmas, reiterating the previous text and expressing it by gathering its intent; hence it says "also." In "It also takes..." below, the words "appear in the world" in the various phrases constitute the unity of stimulus and response; all four phrases are identical, being differentiated according to meaning, yet none are other than stimulus and response. The remaining four may be known.
