- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [9.58](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1719.9.58)

> Next, it cites the \*Explanatory Treatise\* (\*Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa\*) to explain "like space," etc., further explaining phrases such as "unborn"; for because it is like space, it is not subsumed by the three times. First, "like space" is the general heading. "No entering" is unborn, because it does not enter the future from the present. "No exiting" is unarisen, because it does not exit into the past from the present. "Mark of non-abiding" is non-arising, which is non-abiding in the present. The cited purport of the \*Mahāyānasaṃgraha\* is the same as the \*Great Treatise\*. It also cites fascicle forty-three of the \*Great Treatise\* to preserve a different explanation.
