法華玄論 1.69

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.69](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1720.1.69)

答：他心等三能令眾生即事信驗，故名示現；天眼等三則不能爾，故不名示現也。此通釋一經，而正擬初品也。

> Answer: The three, including reading others' minds, are able to cause sentient beings to have immediate faith and verification in concrete phenomena, hence they are called manifestations; the three, including the divine eye, cannot do so, hence they are not called manifestations. This generally explains the whole scripture, while specifically targeting the initial chapter.
