- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [7.28](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1720.7.28)

> Eleventh is explaining self and other. The Prajñā teaching explains self-teaching; after Prajñā, it explains converting teaching. 'Self-teaching' means having the mouths of the śrāvakas speak of the great causes and great fruits themselves, and teaching them using this very dharma; it may be called using their own mouths to speak in order to instruct their minds. From Prajñā onward, hearing various vaipulya sūtras in succession and hearing others speak the great \[Dharma\] to bring them to awakening is therefore called other-teaching.
