> Answer: First, explaining the welling up of the stūpa is intended to represent that it is not an empty tomb; because there is spiritual awareness, he emits a sound. Next, after the stūpa is opened, he speaks again: previously, although he emitted a sound, his form was not yet seen, and it was feared that what was emitted earlier was not a buddha's voice; therefore, he manifests his form to show his mouth personally emitting the sound. Finally, as for speaking the last time: although Prabhūtaratna's non-extinction has been displayed, Śākyamuni's non-arising has not yet been revealed; therefore, he takes his hand and sits beside him, speaking again in order to reveal Śākyamuni's non-arising.
