# 法華義疏 4.50

法華義疏 4.50

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [4.50](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1721.4.50)

前明無二謂無緣覺，無三明無聲聞，則是今文二非真實，但上明其俱無，今明方便說有但非真實有耳。

> The earlier explanation of "there are no two" meant that there are no pratyekabuddhas, and "there are no three" explained that there are no śrāvakas; this corresponds to the present passage's statement that "the two are not real." However, earlier it explained that both are non-existent, whereas now it explains that they are taught through upāya as existing, but they do not exist in reality.
