> From 'Kāśyapa, you should know that the Tathāgata is the King of all dharmas' onward: second, broadly praising the Buddha's inexhaustible virtues. In the text there are two parts: first, an exposition in terms of Dharma explaining the two wisdoms—the provisional and the real; second, an exposition in terms of parables discerning form and voice benefiting beings. Internally, possessing the two wisdoms, there is no obscurity he does not penetrate; externally, possessing form and voice, he benefits beings equally and impartially. Since this exhausts the deep storehouse of the sage's virtues and fully encompasses the Tathāgata's transformative deeds, these two are briefly adduced. Above, the 'Belief and Understanding Chapter' had ten parables and ten benevolences; now, matching them, the Tathāgata clarifies eight dharmas and eight parables. The eight dharmas are: first, King of all dharmas; second, what is spoken is not false; third, expounding all teachings; fourth, equally expressing the one principle; fifth, praising the Buddha's wisdom illuminating the principle; sixth, praising the Buddha's ability to know capacities; seventh, praising the Buddha's skillful mastery of the doors of teaching; eighth, praising the Buddha's expounding of teachings in response to capacities.
