Question: The Brahmās of the southeast say that one hundred and eighty kalpas passed in vain without a Buddha; the Brahmās of the southern direction further say that after one hundred and thirty kalpas they now get to see \[one\] once; and here this passage says that in the past, immeasurable kalpas passed in vain without a Buddha. Why are these three places different?
