觀音玄義 1.10

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.10](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1726.1.10)

四真應者，若智慧轉明則契於法性，法性即實相，名為法身。法身既顯，能從真起應，真顯應起，只由福慧開發，故次第四也。又，若就方便化物，先用應、後用真。今從前義為次第也。

> Fourth, true and responsive: if wisdom becomes increasingly clear, it accords with dharma-nature; dharma-nature is the true mark, termed the dharma-kāya. Once the dharma-kāya is revealed, it can give rise to the responsive from the true; the true being revealed and the responsive arising are solely brought about by the development of merit and wisdom; hence this is fourth in sequence. Moreover, in terms of upāya transforming beings, one first employs the responsive and later the true. Here we follow the former meaning for the sequence.
