> Answer: Wisdom is illumination, which directly remedies dark delusion; delusion is the suffering and affliction of birth-and-death; to remedy the suffering of dark delusion, how could one not use the light of wisdom's understanding? Therefore invoking the person's name of wisdom immediately uproots suffering. The dharma is a Dharma-gate; 'gate' means capable of passing through, passing through to the place of nirvāṇa's peace and joy: initially practicing this dharma is the cause for attaining joy, and later realizing this dharma is the fruit of attaining joy; therefore, in correspondence to this universal gate, its bestowing of joy is clarified.
