> Second, explaining the conceivable object and wisdom internal to the principle: they are also treated under the above four gates. Although the names are the same, the wisdom of contemplation is fully ripened and does not give rise to attachments or views; having exhausted the old, it produces no new \[defilements\]. Fulfilling the path of upāya, it generates the heat, the summits, and even the vision, wisdom, clarity, and awakening of the sixteen minds, and one is suddenly enlightened, breaking through the afflictions of views and according with principle. It is like a blind person whose cataracts are excised with a golden scalpel, clearly without error. This true contemplation is called wisdom, and the principle it illuminates is called the object. Because it produces the uncontaminated, it is called object and wisdom internal to the principle. Although one sees this principle, it is ultimately entering into truth by deliberate attention; therefore it is called conceivable object and wisdom. Now in explaining Avalokiteśvara, the name is not derived from the causes and conditions of this object and wisdom either.
