The first half directly recapitulates the entering into samādhi that occurred before; the second half anticipates the rising afterwards to preach the Dharma. The teaching preached subsequently has two superior functions: first, decisively severing doubts and regrets, just as a vajra can shatter; second, sealing and completing the One Vehicle, just as a vajra is indestructible. The lower two lines reveal these two meanings.
