The first and last two sections are the sūtra-compiler's prologue; the second section is the Buddha's actual speech. Within the first section, three kinds of fulfillment are revealed: first, the fulfillment of the time of preaching, as indicated by the sūtra's "At that time"; second, the fulfillment of the master of the preaching, as indicated by the sūtra's "the Venerable One," who, endowed with the five masteries, is venerated by the world and speaks according to the meaning concerning the profound dharma; third, the fulfillment of sovereign mastery, as indicated by the sūtra's "arose from samādhi and spoke these words."
