- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [2.42](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1730.2.42)

經曰　「若寂滅生心不生，心常寂滅無功無用，不證寂滅相，亦不住於無證，可處無住、總持無相，即無三受等三，悉皆寂滅、清淨無住，不入三昧、不住坐禪，無生無行。」

> The sūtra states: "If the mind that arises from quiescent cessation does not arise, the mind is constantly quiescent without effort or exertion; it does not realize the mark of quiescent cessation, nor does it abide in non-realization. In any accessible place there is non-abiding, universally holding the signless. That is, it is without the three such as the three feelings; all are quiescently ceased, pure, and non-abiding. One does not enter samādhi nor abide in seated meditation; there is neither arising nor activity."
