> Regarding the first, the Dharma master's expedients: first, reiterating the prior to introduce the subsequent, 'boundless wisdom' refers to the profound and vast wisdom of the preceding eight bhūmis. From 'wishing to seek' downward directly demonstrates the expedients. Manifested in one-one, five, and three clauses according to benefiting others and benefiting oneself: the first one clause is benefiting others, and the next one clause is benefiting oneself, hence called 'one-one'; the next five clauses are also benefiting others, and the latter three clauses are also benefiting oneself, hence called 'shown in five and three clauses.' First, saying 'seeking increasingly superior quiescent liberation' refers to relying on the mark of liberation from the formless to benefit sentient beings who can be converted, meaning converting them to cause them to attain true nirvāṇa. Second, 'wishing to turn...' and so forth refers to relying on not yet having attained the ultimate Buddha wisdom to benefit oneself. The five clauses below also clarify benefiting others. Third, 'wishing to enter...' and so forth converts bodhisattvas with mature faculties, causing them to enter the profound and esoteric. Fourth, 'wishing to contemplate...' and so forth converts sentient beings practicing with erroneous mindfulness who can be converted, causing them to attain practice with right mindfulness. Fifth, 'wishing to contemplate all dhāraṇīs...' and so forth converts sentient beings who do not yet know the Dharma, turning the dharmacakra to cause them to know it, since dhāraṇī, samādhi, and wisdom are all the supports for preaching the Dharma. Sixth, 'wishing to cause...' and so forth uses great spiritual powers to convert sentient beings with erroneous refuges, causing them to enter the true Dharma. Seventh, 'wishing to differentiate...' and so forth shows pure lands through the practice of penetrating the differences among worlds, converting sentient beings who believe in being reborn in heaven to cause them to enter the Buddha Dharma. The three clauses below clarify practices of self-benefit. Eighth, 'wishing to cultivate...' and so forth is wishing to attain the Buddha's great wisdom of internally realized full enlightenment, and so on. Ninth, 'wishing to conform to...' and so forth is wishing to attain the great wisdom of the dharmacakra for externally converting and gathering sentient beings. Tenth, 'wishing not to abandon...' and so forth is wishing to attain the Buddha's non-abiding nirvāṇa and not abandon compassionate vows. The conclusion below can be known \[from the text\].
