> Sixth is the dedication according with all solid roots of goodness. Within the prose there are also two parts, namely the practice of the stage and the fruit of the stage. Within the practice of the stage there are also three: the presentation, the explanation, and the conclusion. Within the explanation there are three: first, the body upon which practice relies; second, 'leaving behind all karmic hindrances' and so forth clarifies generating practice based on the body; third, 'if a bodhisattva-mahāsattva can dedicate with these roots of goodness' and so forth explains the benefits accomplished by the practice. Regarding the first, the body upon which practice relies: giving is initiated relying on the body of a wheel-turning sage king (cakravartin), which has four purposes: 1. the householder state is the stage capable of giving; 2. possessing the seven treasures that can be given; 3. clarifying that what is difficult to renounce can be renounced; 4. gathering and transforming \[beings\] so that none dare disobey orders. In the text there are two parts: first, revealing the king's virtue of sovereign control; later, 'this bodhisattva-mahāsattva' and so forth explains the king's peerless virtue of primary retribution. In the former, regarding the meaning of the wheel-turning king perfecting the seven treasures, it is briefly treated under three headings.
