The Daśabhūmikā-śāstra states: "Because this Dharma is superior, it was spoken in a superior place." There are two gates to this exposition: first, general; second, specific. The general has three tiers: First, beneath this tree, because bodhi was attained, he did not arise from this to speak, clearly expressing that what was spoken was just as what was attained, not changed or altered to pursue different capacities, as with the preaching in the Deer Park and so forth. Second, relying on the completely fused Padmagarbha-lokadhātu expresses that what was spoken is complete and extraordinarily superior, because its nature blossoms open. Third, relying on this place of layered Indrajāla expresses that what was spoken is also layered and inexhaustible, like inconceivable liberation and so forth.
