> Part seven, the 'reiterative verses' section, has one hundred verses in total, divided into two: first, ninety-one verses properly versify the preceding Dharma; second, from 'Such ten abodes' onwards, nine verses conclude with praise and exhort practice. In the former, the ten abodes make ten sections. Within the first abode there are forty-six verses, divided into four parts: first, three verses versify the conditions for generating the mind; next, thirty-two verses versify generating the mind oriented toward objects; next, ten verses versify the superior advancements to be studied; last, one \[verse\] provides a general conclusion. First, 'honour' is the aforementioned 'sentient beings' joy to see'. The third verse is the 'vast Dharma'. Within the second, there are two parts: first, ten verses on generating the mind oriented toward the ten powers, one verse per power. In the first, it means that taking a cause to realize a fruit is 'possible', whereas arising from a soul, primordial matter (prakṛti), and so forth is 'impossible'. The rest of the text is clear. Second, twenty-two verses distinctively manifest what is sought. The prose concluded the preceding and introduced what followed, saying 'seeking all-knowledge'; now the verses briefly manifest the marks of all-knowledge. These twenty-two verses have one verse per knowledge. Where words like 'knowledge' or 'comprehending' are missing, it is merely textual brevity. Gathering them according to categories, they are subsumed under ten knowledges: 1. one verse on knowledge of conventional truth; 2. one verse on knowledge of ultimate truth; 3. one verse on knowledge of supernormal powers; 4. five verses on knowledge of liberation; 5. from 'past' onwards, one verse on knowledge of kalpas and kṣetras; 6. one verse on knowledge of the three vehicles; 7. seven verses on knowledge of the three mysteries—namely, two verses on the mystery of body, three verses on the mystery of speech, and two verses on the mystery of mind; 8. one verse on mind-only knowledge; 9. from 'past' onwards, three verses on the unobstructed knowledge of unity and multiplicity; 10. one verse on the knowledge of the dual practice of expedient means and reality. Third, from 'A bodhisattva who thus' onwards, ten verses versify the ten dharmas of superior advancement, one verse per dharma; all saying 'causing them not to regress', which reveals the intention to exhort study. Non-regression is threefold: 1. non-regression in station, from the seventh abode upward; 2. non-regression in realization, from the first stage upward; 3. non-regression in mindfulness, from the eighth stage onwards. Here, what is immediately aspired to is non-regression in station. If viewed according to the round teaching regarding the station itself, one obtains non-regression in station upon entering an abode from faith, because at the initial generation of the mind, one realizes sambodhi. Fourth, one verse provides a general conclusion and is also an adduction of proof. In the second abode, there are five verses: the first two verses versify one's own station, the next two versify superior advancement, and the last verse concludes the preaching. In the third abode, there are five verses: the first two verses versify one's own station, and the next three versify superior advancement. In the fourth abode, there are six verses: the first three versify one's own station, the next two versify superior advancement, and the last one concludes with praise. In the fifth abode, there are five verses: the first three verses versify one's own station, the next one versifies superior advancement, and the last one concludes with praise. In the sixth abode, there are four verses: the first three versify one's own station, within which the latter half of a verse manifests the meaning of immovability; the second part is one verse on superior advancement. In the seventh abode, there are four verses: the first two versify one's own station, and the next two versify superior advancement. In the eighth abode, there are five verses: the first three versify one's own station, and the next two versify superior advancement. In the ninth abode, there are five verses: the first two versify one's own station, and the next three versify superior advancement. In the tenth abode, there are six verses: the first four versify one's own station, within which three verses versify the accomplished virtuous functions and one verse praises its unfathomable superiority; the next two verses versify superior advancement.
